Hamline University’s Renewable Energy Camp will enhance understanding of renewable energy and demonstrate how to design, test, construct, fabricate, and present energy conversion and storage devices. At camp, students entering grades 9 - 12 will:
- Interact with local experts to learn the principles of and conduct hands-on experiments with renewable energy conversion and storage devices like solar cells, supercapacitors, and lithium-ion batteries.
- Visit local corporations such as Medtronic.
- Work with a team to design, fabricate, and test energy conversion and storage devices, as well as analyze and present experimental results.
