2018 MN Field Trip & Activity EXPO

Target Field

9am - 3pm

175 exhibitors

FOR ALL EDUCATORS - including K-12 teachers, curriculum specialists, coaches, music directors, principals and community education personnel - are invited to explore & interview new "experiential learning" assemblies, field trips, classes and career exploration. These programs can be customized to support standards, support your school district's curriculum... and fit the ages/grades of participating school groups.

THE EXHIBITORS are experienced professionals. Many are licensed teachers and offer specific programs in their discipline areas - from science and history to physical education.

LEARNING EXPERIENCE EXHIBITORS

- Natural Sciences and STEM (educational science performers, educational performers, etc)

- Performance Art (music, theatre, dance, music, etc)

- Outdoor and indoor sports & physical activities (ninja gyms, ropes, rock climbing, wilderness camping, skiing, trampolining, etc)

- Team Building for both youth (classes, sports teams) and adults (staff, teachers, etc) - escape rooms, group art, pottery, glass-making, cooking, ninja and ropes courses, rock climbing, etc)

- Personal Development & Career exploration

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS PRESENTED BY LICENSED PROFESSIONALS

During the EXPO there will be 2 PD workshops available at no charge (1 hour each) for professional development. 1 hour each of clock time. No charge. See the workshops here:

CEU CERTIFICATES FOR EDUCATORS - NO CHARGE

Attendees can earn up to 6 hours of clock time and take with them a CEU Certificate by interviewing educational providers at the EXPO, and by attending one or both workshops. No charge.

BONUS: FREE TOURS OF TARGET FIELD & TWINS TICKETS

Target Field Tours is offering free tours of Target Field during the EXPO to acquaint educators with their 13 award-winning LEARNING THROUGH BASEBALL Programs (social studies, history, science, math and more)... Plus the Twins will be giving out more than 1,500 free Twins game tickets to educators - during the 2018 Expo.
