Mark your calendars for the 13th biennial Lake Superior Youth Symposium at the University of Minnesota Duluth on May 16-19, 2019. This program is open to students and teachers throughout the Lake Superior watershed in grades 8-12. Join the learning and fun with other students and teachers from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Minnesota and the province of Ontario.
What

For 8th-12th grade students and teachers interested in all aspects of Lake Superior

3 night stay, all meals provided at ~$150/person

An interdisciplinary gathering with day of workshops/seminars and a day of field trips

Where

At the western tip of Lake Superior in beautiful Duluth, Minnesota

Lodging, workshops, and seminars will be at the University of Minnesota Duluth campus

Field trips will be in the Duluth area

The purpose of the symposium is to bring students together from around the “Big Lake” to enjoy, learn and experience the science, art, culture and challenges of protecting one of the greatest bodies of freshwater on the planet- Lake Superior.
