Dear Educators, Administrators, and School Community,

Spring has sprung on the Mississippi River! This latest blizzard will soon be melting away downstream, while our herons, pelicans, and geese will be flying upstream to meet us here. Spring is a time of change, but one constant that remains is your local National Park offering high quality field trips and programming for youth. Indeed, a lot is happening in the education branch of the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. Our virtual classroom lessons are in full swing, and can fit in to almost any lesson plan from grades 3-8. Big River Journey is also just around the corner; a few slots remain open for our flagship program so get them while you can!
