At Cedar Creek, we are known for our decades-long scientific research in ecology, human impacts on environments, and the way the natural world works. That’s not all though — we are also committed to building the next generation of scientists and teachers and are excited to launch a brand-new science education apprenticeship program! This intensive, experiential training program, funded by the National Science Foundation’s Cedar Creek Long-Term Ecological Research program, will transform participants into well-rounded community leaders, educators, and researchers. Over 11.5 months, apprentices will learn, teach, explore, investigate, network, and live (if desired) on Cedar Creek’s 5,600-acre natural area.
