As you are aware, this is the first year of the Science MCA-IV. This summer we will bring together teachers for a Standards Setting committee to determine what it means for students to be proficient on the Science MCA-IV based on the 2019 Minnesota Science Standards. It is important to get good representation from classrooms throughout Minnesota.
Committees are composed of classroom teachers (elementary science, middle school science and HS life science), as well as Special Education and EL Teachers. We especially need HS Life Science teachers. The timeline is really short in that we want to fill these committees in the next week.
