Registration for Wilderness Inquiry’s 2025 Virtual Youth Explorers program is now open!
Mississippi River Explorers and Minnesota Freshwater Quest are Wilderness Inquiry's first virtual programs for youth that began in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They have grown into engaging, hands-on programs that take place on Zoom in 1.5 hour sessions. During Mississippi River Explorers, your students will learn about the ecology and history of the Mississippi River and tune in for live conversations with National Park Rangers on-site along the river. During Minnesota Freshwater Quest, students will explore freshwater species in their communities and begin to develop a service project to help protect their local waterways.
