MESTA is pleased to welcome Laura Lockwood to present at the 2025 MESTA conference. Weather is intertwined with the earth sciences, social sciences, and many other fields of study and career paths. Meteorologists in the education, government, and private sectors help us to understand the weather and aid
us in being better prepared for not only everyday life, but the unexpected as well. We will hear about some of the main concepts and fundamentals of the field, including where to find valuable resources for teaching. This in-person presentation will feature Ms. Lockwood along with three additional concurrent sessions, a keynote speaker, and a pre-conference evening social event.
