Are you looking for a different kind of professional development? Are you curious how games and game design can impact STEM learning outcomes? Would you like to be compensated while learning, playing, and designing? If the answer is yes, then this is a growth opportunity for you!

We are reaching out to introduce Game Plan - a G4C Learn program that provides professional development and a community of support to public school STEM educators who teach grades 6-12 and want to explore the power of games, play, and game design to evolve and grow their teaching practice.

Kicking off on September 24, and then continuing weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 pm EST until November 12; STEM educators will receive:

  • Virtual professional development on Zoom that incorporates play, design and other interactive strategies for engagement.
  • Access to a national community of like-minded STEM educators for support and fresh ideas via an online collaboration platform.
  • Free curriculum guides and lesson plans in the foundations of game design and digital game design.
  • Participation stipend of $500.00.

We welcome any STEM educator who teaches grades 6-12 from your school to apply by filling out this application by Friday, August 30, 2024.
