As of June 30, only about half of the federal ESSER funds (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund) allocated to Minnesota districts has been spent. This is a good opportunity for you to request this for science. Advocate with your administrators about your needs and ideas.
Several vendors that will be exhibiting at the MnSTA Conference on Science Education can provide ideas for how those funds can be spent. Register for the conference to see materials from publishers, professional development offerings, field trip opportunities, youth programs, and science equipment. We expect about 40 exhibitors.
