The Laboratory Safety Institute is a nonprofit committed by its mission to make lab safety training possible for hard-working teachers. Because the schools that need lab safety programs the most are often the least able to afford it, we are proud to offer scholarships (up to $800) for K-12 educators. Just fill out the form at labsafety.org/lab-safety-teachers to receive the same education we provide to industry and government labs worldwide. 

• Two-Day Lab Safety Professional Development Course (Zoom) Sept. 5-6, Sept. 19-20, Oct. 3-4, Nov. 14-15
  ($650 scholarship award for K-12 teachers)
  Flagship course covers handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals, electrical safety, fire control, legal aspects, and more!
  
  All courses are also offered as video on-demand courses.
  
  
• Safety in Secondary School Science Labs (Zoom) Sept. 26, Oct. 31, Nov. 9
  A one-day lab safety short course specifically designed for high schools. Covers chemical handling and storage, electrical safety, legal aspects, and more!
  
  
• Laboratory Safety Institute memberships are available for only $25 to K-12 teachers. Memberships provide a year of free access to our monthly webinar series and 15% discounts on all LSI merch.
