Dear Colleagues:
What kind of thoughts did you take away from Duluth this weekend?
For me, the conference was:
1) A time of insight - Dr. Eric Jolly's basket weaving as metaphor for engaging the whole child. Who would have thought I would have tears in my eyes at a science conference?
2) A time of reflection - Just what do I think I know about force and motion?! Bill Robertson's workshop brought my notions of velocity, acceleration and motion into sharper focus. I love being surprised again at just how much I don't yet understand.
3) A time of rejuvenation - Thanks to you, my colleagues, for the many engaging discussions about our craft of teaching science to young people.
See you in Duluth next year!
