During this time of confinement due to the COVID-19 virus, building relationships with young people is more important than ever.
Search Institute's research shows that when young people experience developmental relationships with parents, educators, youth program staff, and other adults they are better able to cope with stressful events and adversity.
Although you may not be able to meet in person with young people, there are still ways for teachers and program staff to build valuable developmental relationships.
