Blaine Wetland Sanctuary is hosting two open houses for educators on Sept 10 and Sept 20, from 3-5pm. It's a new site for field trips...a hidden gem!

All educators are invited to attend a free open house at the Blaine Wetland Sanctuary on Monday, September 10 or Thursday, September 20 from 3-5 pm. The Blaine Wetland Sanctuary consists of 500 acres of open space with a variety of habitats, making it a living laboratory for researchers, teachers, and students.

- Get your questions about the fen answered
- Network with other teachers
- Hike the mile-long boardwalk
- Preview engineering design challenges for students
- Learn the scientists’ stories who are conducting research at the fen
- Preview the maps, signage, and phenology connections
- Sign up for field trips for the 2018-19 school year
Preregister to receive a flash drive with lessons, maps, and science stories specific to the Blaine Wetland Sanctuary.
