The Jeffers Foundation, in cooperation with Hamiline University, is offering a three day workshop August 1 - 3, 2016.
Team Teaching with Mother Nature — The Outdoor Classroom

Be inspired this summer, in an exciting workshop offered by Jeffers Foundation
in cooperation with Hamline University - the much requested advanced version
of our popular professional development training for all K-12 teachers.
 
Who: K-12 classroom teachers
What: FREE professional development
When: Aug. 1,2,3 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm each day.
Where: McColl Pond ELC, Savage, MN
 
Three days are jam-packed with multi-disciplinary, hands-on activities to engage and inspire your students. Strategies for successful outdoor instruction, a focus on academic standards, an emphasis on STEM and opportunities to share ideas with other educators are special features of the workshop.
